Turned off my computer while installing updates, now my computer will not start properly? Help!?
I installed Windows Live OneCare updates on my computer, while they were installing / configuring, I turned off my computer. Now when I try to start the computer, the screen will reset, but says im missing a file and custom startup. What I can do?! The missing file is the file ntoskrnl.exe Status: 0xc0000098 Info: Windows could not load a required file is missing or damaged because. I tried F8 but the options did not cause all work on this file, he said. Also I have inserted Windows XP Home issue but it is not reading a cd in. Is your missing that file. I just press F10 and went with Edit Edit Options boot options to boot Windows: Microsoft Windows Vista Path: Windows system32 partition winload.exe: 2 Hard disk: bbc58b91 [/ noexecute = OptIn / DETECTHAL] – I can not erase this
